Rainstorm victims receive supplies

BOGOR: The Bogor administration has supplied victims of a rainstorm in Cimahpar subdistrict with emergency rations, including 26 sacks of rice, 10 boxes of instant noodles and 24 cans of sardines.
The rainstorm destroyed more than 98 houses in Cimahpar.
Secretary of the Cimahpar subdistrict office Abdul Hakim said such storms were a regular occurrence in the area, Tempointeraktif.com reported.
He said similar storms had struck in April and August this year.
The storm also damaged houses in Sukaraga village, but as of Sunday night, residents in the area were yet to receive assistance from the administration. -- JP
