A currency trader awaits customers on a Jakarta street. The rupiah fell
1.5 percent Monday to Rp 9,575, as stock market investors sold their
local holdings and converted gains to the dollar. Indonesian stocks
plunged more on Monday than any day since the 2002 Bali bombings,
