Female fetus thrown into lake

JAKARTA: A female fetus was put into a blue plastic bag and thrown into Sunter Lake in North Jakarta, police reported Tuesday.
The fetus, thought to be around 5-6 months old, was found by a woman on Monday afternoon while she was looking for her husband in the area.
Police suspect the fetus was the result of an abortion. It was taken to a mortuary.
Early last month, six babies were found dead in Jakarta, most likely abandoned by their parents. -- JP
