The price of fine gold reached US$906.5 per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange, between US$904.3-905.3 per ounce in Hongkong and Rp 8,937,677 (US$932) in Jakarta, where the price has been rising this week as many people turn to gold for invesment amid the fall in share prices.
