Man found dead 3 days after killing

JAKARTA: A man was found dead Wednesday in his boarding room in Kebonjeruk, West Jakarta, police reported Friday.
Police suspect the man, identified as Jimmy Tjik Zahari, 36, was murdered.
According to the police's calculations, Jimmy had been dead for three days before he was discovered by his cousin, Nardi, 35.
"Friday (last week) was the last time I saw him," Nardi said as quoted by kompas.com.
"We just returned from our hometown in Riau. Arriving in Jakarta, I directly went to Tangerang."
Nardi said Jimmy, also known as Iwan, worked as a designer.
Kebonjeruk Police chief Comr. Wongniti Harto Negoro said the police were still investigating the perpetrator's motive.
The police may rule out robbery as the motive because many valuables were found at the scene, he said. -JP
