BANDUNG, W.Java: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is likely to name more suspects in a Rp 50 billion (US$5.2 million) corruption case.
The KPK has named three suspects in the alleged misuse of the province's budget for heavy equipment procurement.
The three suspects are former West Javan governor, Danny Setiawan, former head of the utility bureau, Wahyu Kurnia and chairman of the Depok chapter of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Yusuf Setiawan.
On Friday, seven KPK members began examining documents at the offices of the province secretary, governor and deputy governor.
"The number of suspects in this case is likely to increase. We are waiting for the results of the investigation," KPK spokesman Johan Budi said. --JP
