State power company PT PLN will list its plan to issue bonds worth Rp 3 trillion (US$300 million) at the Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (Bapepam) in the following week.
"The PLN audit report will be completed on Tuesday, we will immediately list our plan afterward," PLN Finance Director Setio Dewo Anggoro said as quoted by Tempointeraktif.com on Sunday.
Setio said that despite the current financial crisis, the company still had confidence in its loyal investors, including Dana Pensiun (Pension Fund).
"Dana Pensiun noticed that we never fail to pay our debts, besides our projects are always guaranteed by the government," he said.
Setio said that the bonds, which would have five to seven years terms, would be used to finance the company's expansion and projects. PLN however has yet to decide whether it would use fixed or floating interest rate. (dre)
