RI rugby team to debut at Singapore's Rugby Sevens

Indonesia's Barbarians rugby team, drawing players from across the country's clubs, will debut in the 61st Annual Singapore Cricket Club International Rugby Sevens (SCC 7) this weekend.
Indonesia has been slated to take on the Vipers of South Africa, the Impala of Kenya and the hosting Singapore Cricket Club in Saturday's showdowns.
At least 20 teams are taking part in the SCC 7 with powerhouses South Africa and Scotland using this tournament as a warm-up for their upcoming International Rugby Board (IRB) World Sevens circuit.
"This is the first step for Indonesia in Rugby Sevens. Next year our main target is to play in the Southeast Asian Games," Indonesian Rugby Football Union said in a statement to
