Police reenact Jombang murder

Around 50 police officers from East Java Regional Police were present at a reenactment of a controversial serial murder at a burial site in Maijo village, Jombang, East Java.
Alleged serial killer Very Idham Henyansyah, also known as Ryan, as brought to the location (situated behind his house) to construct the scene where he had allegedly murdered and buried
10 people.
Special Crimes Unit I chief Adj. Comm. Susanto led the reenactment project, aiming to reveal how Ryan murdered and robbed his victims.
The first reconstruction began in Ryan's bathroom. Using a hoe and a crowbar, Ryan allegedly hit Guntur Setyo Pramono (Guntur)'s in the head until he fell flat on the ground.After the bathroom scene, Ryan dragged his victim into a hole where he later buried the body.
Ryan demonstrated how he placed the body into a hole and covered it with stones and soil.
Beside the Guntur's burial site, there were nine other gravestones, all of them Ryan's victims, at the same location.
"I made sure the victims were dead," Ryan said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com, while responding to an investigator who asked how he had buried the bodies.
After the first act, Ryan proceeded onto the next, similarly explaining how he had killed the second victim, Agustinus Fitri Setiawan. Ryan had covered Agustinus' head with a red carpet before burying the body at in his backyard. (eny)
