AKARTA: Katon Bagaskara, vocalist for the Kla Project and his brother, Agustinus Gusti "Nugie" Nugraha, are release a duet written to help save planet Earth.

The two brothers signed an agreement with WWF Indonesia on Thursday committing to donate all revenue from the song to environmental campaigns.

"Nature has given a great wealth and now it's time for us to pay it back," Katon said in a statement.

The song, Jika Bumi Bisa Bicara (If The Earth Could Talk), will be distributed digitally. Money will be made from people who download the song as their cellular phones' ring tone.

During the signing ceremony, Katon announced that he had officially joined the approximately 15,000 supporters of WWF across the country.

Nugie, who has been working together with WWF longer than his elder brother, said the latest collaboration with the environmental group was a breakthrough.

"I have been working for years with WWF members. I am always willing to collaborate with them as I understand the challenges they face in fighting for a sustainable life." -- JP
