Semarang gets bomb threat

A few hours after the Bali bombers were executed, a hoax bomb threat was made by phone to Novotel Hotel in Semarang, Central Java, on Sunday morning.
The threat was received by a phone operator at around 07:00 a.m. The hotel immediately contacted the local police.
Semarang police bomb squad told all the guests and employees to leave the building. They swept the hotel for two hours before concluding there was no bomb.
Police chief of detectives Adj. Snr. Comr. Agus Rohmat said the police were investigating the case. (dre)
