Jakarta Police has arrested a number of supporters of the three convicted Bali bombers on allegations of "spreading terror" relating to their recent executions.
"They are not happy about the executions. We are conducting further investigations," Jakarta Police chief Insp. Gen. Adang Firman told reporters on Monday on the sidelines of Heroes Day commemorations in Jakarta.
Adang, however, refused to give further details of the arrests, or any acts of terror allegedly committed.
"There are one or two (people detained). I can't give you the details. They were arrested outside the city," he said.
Adang said Jakarta Police would remain cautious in the wake of the executions on Sunday of convicted Bali bombers Amrozi, Muklas and Imam Samudera. (dre)
