Malaysian fishermen visit Aceh

Ten members of a Malaysian fishermen organization arrived Monday in Aceh for a three-day visit to build fish trade cooperation with local fishermen, Tempointeraktif.com reported.
Secretary General of Aceh Marine Customary Council, Adli Abdullah said the visit was also to strengthen ties between the two fishermen communities, who have been having relationship throughout the history.
Adli said the Malaysian representatives were scheduled to meet with local fish traders, Aceh Marine and Fisheries Agency officials, Food and Agriculture Organization representatives, and Aceh Marine Customary Council chief.
In May this year, representatives of Aceh fishermen had paid a similar visit to Perak, Malaysia. (dre)
