As many as 305 Indonesians who were trapped at the Bangkok Swarnabumi International Airport are reportedly safe.

"Until now we have had 305 Indonesian citizens trapped at Swarnabumi," Foreign Ministry director for protection of Indonesian citizens abroad Teguh Wardoyo told tempointeraktif.com Saturday evening.

The Indonesians have been stranded since the beginning of a massive People's Alliance rally Tuesday evening.

According to Wardoyo, the Indonesian government has already set up a support desk to provide them with food and medications.

"The desk was set up at the airport on Thursday; there are many Indonesians who are stuck there and they are well," he said.

Those who are stranded are holiday makers as well as haj pilgrims.
