About 1,000 workers will stage a rally at the Hotel Indonesia circle in Central Jakarta on Thursday to commemorate the UN's International Migrants Day.

"In the demonstration, we will present a parade of corpses to depict the many migrant workers who have died from physical abuses," he said.
He said the workers' organization was were appealing to the government to ratify the 1990 United Nation treaty protecting migrant workers. (ewd)
