RI to send Rp 2 b in medical aid to Palestine

The Health Ministry is planning to send Rp 2 billion (US$181,000) in medical assistance to help Palestinians cope with the war against Israel, tempointeraktif.com reported on Monday.Head of the ministry's crisis control department Rustam S. Pakaya said Monday the minister had allocated the funds and would dispatch the aid tommorrow (Tuesday).
"We have coordinated with the Foreign Ministry on sending the aid," he said.
On Saturday, Israeli troops began bombing raids directed at Hamas facilities in Gaza, which have so far claimed 300 lives. The Israeli cabinet has prepared to deploy 6,700 reservists to the border area. (ewd)

If the INDONESIAN Health Ministry has that much money, they should spend it on INDONESIANs. I mean, come on, mother's mortality on delivery in Indonesia is the highest in Asia. What will this country do with children without mothers? For one, they wont be getting breast milk which is one of the roots of poor health rate in this country.
In short: set your priority, o' Health Minister. You're a mother, you should know.

Instead of sending medical staff there, RI should contemplate on sending peace keeping troops. If the Arabs do not want to do any thing about our Brothers and Sisters in Palestine, it is about time Muslim Asians especially Indonesians pack their bags and head to Palestine to defend our fellow Muslims. This is not terrorism. This is Humanity. And to those people who bomb the innocent in Asia, why can't you guys see that the true jihad is in Palestine? If the Indonesian terrorists are brave and intelligent enough, they should head to Palestine as well. Let Muslim Asians take the lead in defending Gaza and West Bank. We do not need the UN's help at all.
