Suciwati, the wife of slain human rights activist Munir, and other activists are seeking public support following a court decision to release former top spy Muchdi Purwoprandjono, previously a prime suspect in the Munir murder case.
At a press conference on Thursday, Suciwati and members of the Solidarity for Munir (Kasum) group asked the public to come forward with any information leading to those responsible for Munir's death.
The group are seeking information regarding three people in particular: Muchdi, former state intelligence chief AM Hendropriyono and former Garuda Indonesia pilot Pollycarpus Budihari Priyanto.
"Whoever recognizes the people in these photos or has information about them, please contact us," Suciwati said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com, while pointing at pictures of Muchdi, Hendropriyono and Pollycarpus.
Suciwati said she was shocked by the South Jakarta District Court decision to free Muchdi of any charges of involvement in Munir's murder.
With Muchdi's acquittal, at present only Polycarpus has been convicted of killing Munir.
Munir was poisoned while onboard a Garuda flight from Jakarta to Amsterdam on Sept. 7, 2004.
Meanwhile, Human Rights Working Group coordinator Rafendi Jamin said his organization would bring the court verdict before a Judicial Commission for review.
Members of the public with any information relating to Munir's murder can call 08128218930 or 0818159146.
