DENPASAR: The Denpasar Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) confiscated hundreds of illegal virility drugs at a raid in a boarding house at Jalan Imam Bonjol in Denpasar, Friday.
The city BPOM found 12 kinds of illegal virility drugs, with pills numbering in the hundreds, and two cardboard boxes filled with sex toys for women at a boarding house belonging to Ali Humaidi.
"We found all of this evidence in his home and his cosmetics shop, which is also located on Jl. Imam Bonjol," said Putu Bagiarta, head of Denpasar BPOM's investigation division.
Ali, who had been taken to the office for further investigation, said he started his business three months ago, and "only certain people use these drugs, most of whom are regulars".
He said his customers would show up in his home if his shop was closed to buy the illegal virility drugs which included drugs with the label "Cialis" and other, apparently imported, blue pills. -- JP
