Three families that survived the Sidoarjo mudflow disaster were forced to erect temporary tents near the entrance gate of the Kahuripan Village residential complex, built by Lapindo Brantas Inc. to house survivors, after the company stopped paying their rent on Thursday. They expect the company to pay them compensation money so they can build their own homes.
