Lampung robbers, cop killers arrested

Police arrested two men for alleged robbery and murder of a police officer in Tanjung Bintang, South Lampung on early Saturday morning.
“The arrest was made by local police in cooperation with the National Police headquarters and the anti-terror Special Detachment 88,” National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Abubakar Nataprawira said Saturaday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
The suspects, Arifin bin Wagino and Suwardi a.k.a Ujang Kasto, were arrested in Talang Setan village. Police confiscated a 9mm FN handgun and an assault rifle SS1, along with 39 bullets from the suspects.
The suspects allegedly shot police officer Second Adj. Insp. Rijali Siregar who caught them in the act while robbing a house on Monday. (dre)
