Landslide blocks highway in Magelang hill

Hundreds of local resident were clearing an access highway, located on a hill valley, that has been blocked by a landslide in Pakis in Magelang, Central Java on Saturday morning.
The landslide occurred during a heavy rain that poured the area from Friday afternoon until early Saturday morning.
Local village leader Budi Santoso said there were no casualties in the incident.
Magelang administration said they were going to send an excavator to help clearing the road.
The highway is the main access to Ketep Hill tourism object, which is usually crowded by local tourists during weekends. (dre)
