A Malaysian court sentenced on Saturday an Indonesian with a death penalty by hanging for distributing marijuana in the country.
The court said that 33-year old Aceh-born Faisal Abdul Aziz was caught red handed by an undercover police on Jan. 23, 2006, when he was selling marijuana in a palm plantation in Dengkil, Selangor.
The police confiscated a total of 406.93 grams of marijuana from Faisal.
Faisal’s team of prosecutors said he would file an appeal for his innocence and claimed that he was framed. (and)
