Taking art into public places

A group of art students paint murals Sunday at the Senayan City Mall complex in Jakarta as part of the 2009 Jakarta Biennale. Titled ARENA, the event will for the first time since 1968 move out of art galleries and display high-quality works of art in public places, including shopping malls, bus stops and parks. JP/J.
