How many more children to die?

This is a response to a comment made by Tatu F. Maulani (The Jakarta Post, Feb. 2, p. 20), who cannot believe the Nazi killed six million Jewish people.
In fact it is not difficult to find out the figure because the Nazis kept proper lists, such as: arrived in camp X, a train with 800 people, the same day, 600 killed in the gas chambers. The lists also contained exact names, dates of birth, places of residence, professions etc. And there were many more killing factories than the few everybody has heard of.
After the war, every town and village over the whole of Europe had people missing and the numbers could be checked against the lists the Nazis had made of people sent to the camps. So the six million is a correct figure but it still does not include the gypsies and others who, in Nazi eyes, did not deserve to live.
If there is one country that has lost so many people, it is Israel. But we all know their behavior is unbelievably ruthless - half a century of bulldozing Palestinians and killing whole families - which made the Palestinians vote for extremists like Hamas.
And now more than 400 are children killed and the UN did nothing. Simply talking will not end Israel's action - of shooting at everything they called a military target, when they were just swimming pools, restaurants etc.
All parties should be aware that 400 Palestinian children should have deserved to have a place to live, while many Israeli children should no longer become the target of Hamas bomb attacks.
Why do members of both Israel and Hamas behave as if they do not know the impacts of their actions? We, the civilized world, have to say to them. Enough is enough!
