United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda upon her arrival in the nation's capital on Wednesday afternoon, foreign ministry spokesman said.
"We are still finalizing the exact schedule," Teuku Faizasyah told tempointeraktif.com by phone.
He added that the two top foreign affairs officials would discuss, among others, "issues relevant to the region, regional and multilateral."
This would include development economics, poverty and efforts to alleviate it, Faiza said.
Clinton, who is also tipped to meet with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Thursday morning, will also visit the ASEAN Secretariat.
"[The ASEAN Secretariat visit] is arranged by the US Embassy, so we can't comment on that," Faiza said. (amr)
