Thai PM visits ASEAN Secretariat

Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is scheduled to visit the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta and meet with ASEAN Secretary-General Surin Pitsuwam on Saturday.
Vejjajiva wil deliver a speech deliver a speech to diplomats and the international media at the ASEAN Secretariat before returning to Thailand later in the day.
Abhisit is on his first official visit to Indonesia since his inauguration in December last year.
In a meeting with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Friday, both leaders agreed to tackle the Rohingya refugee issue in a multinational setting under the existing forum of the Bali Process. (dre)
