DPD campaign fund report rolls in

DENPASAR: There are only four candidates for the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) who have not given their campaign funds account to the Bali General Elections Commission (KPUD) as of Thursday, a huge boost from only two days ago.

Reports of campaign funds accounts began to roll in as of Thursday, with only four DPD candidates left out of the 30 candidates vying for seats, according to a report from the Bali KPUD.

It was a huge boost from a similar report on Tuesday, which saw 13 of the DPD candidates failing to report their campaign funds account.

"It's good that we've got the data now, but I just want to remind the four candidates that time is running short and they need to submit their account number soon," KPUD member Dewa Raka Sandhi said in Denpasar on Thursday.

I Dewa Putu Parwata Nidha, I Gusti Ketut Puriartha, I Gusti Ngurah Oka and I Kadek Arimbawa are the candidates who have yet to report their campaign funds account number. - JP
