Govt to merge Kimia Farma and Indofarma

The government said Friday that it would merge state-owned drug makers PT Kimia Farma and PT Indofarma as a single company that produces pharmaceutical products.Deputy to State Minister for State Enterprises Muchayat said the ministry had assembled a team to implement the merger.
“PT Mandiri Sekuritas has been chosen as the lead advisor in the merger,” Muchayat said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com on Friday.
He added that the ministry was still looking for legal advisors, accountants and other experts to support the team. (and)
