Fire hits residential area in Rawamangun

Fire razed houses on Jl. Haji Ten in Rawasari, Rawamangun, East Jakarta on Wednesday morning, tempointeraktif.com has reported. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Sutikno, an official of the East Jakarta Fire Agency, said that the fire started from one of the houses at 6:15 a.m. and spread quickly.
The agency deployed 14 fire trucks, from the North and Central Jakarta fire brigade.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire by around 07:00 a.m.
Authorities have yet to announce total amount of losses incurred or cause of the fire. (dre)
