SEMARANG: A policeman died of unknown causes after working as a security guard at a polling station in the city.
Chief. Brig. Eka Setyono, 35, was found dead in his bed by his wife, Ita, when she attempted to wake him early Friday.
Ita said her husband had complained of not feeling well after working from Thursday morning until late.
"When he came home he asked me to massage his body until he went to sleep," Ita said, adding that her husband had been feeling very tired after maintaining security at a polling booth in Ngaliyin subdistrict, Semarang, and had shown this through his snoring that night.
Eka's body was buried on Friday without an autopsy. - JP
