JAKARTA: The first ever exhibition of shooting sports will be held from April 30 to May 3
AKARTA: The first ever exhibition of shooting sports will be held from April 30 to May 3.
"We want to show people that the sport of target shooting is not at all exclusive and expensive," said Fahira Fahmi Idris of the Indonesian Association of Shooting and Hunting (Perbakin), during a media conference at the inaugural Indohunt Expo event on Wednesday.
"We also aim at finding younger athletes in the sport, which is still dominated by veterans," said Fahira, adding only 10 percent of Indonesia's 200 national shooting athletes have recorded international achievements.
