DENPASAR: Denpasar Police questioned five students from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar at the police headquarters on Friday.
Five other students underwent questioning the previous day.
The 10 students were named as suspects after they allegedly sealed office doors with wooden boards during a protest staged at the Institute.
The protest was part of a series, held by students and some lectures, to oppose the re-election of Prof. I Wayan Rai as the Institute's rector.
Wayan disbanded the senate after they selected the popular figure, I Nyoman Catra. After holding another election, which he won, Wayan formed a new senate.
"The questioning was about the chronology of the protest as well as my involvement in it," Ketut Ngurah Aryawan said.
"It was not an anarchy action," he said. -JP
