Police arrest terrorist linked to Poso attacks

JAKARTA: The National Police have arrested Amirullah, a wanted terrorist, for his alleged role in orchestrating attacks in Poso, Central Sulawesi.
"He was responsible for masterminding the attacks in Poso and at several other sites across the region," National Police spokesperson Ins. Gen. Abubakar Nataprawira told journalists in Jakarta on Friday.
Among the attacks, he said, was the brutal shooting of a lecturer at the Sintuwu Maroso University in 2004.
In 2007 Amirullah was also involved in another shooting at the Al Mujahirin Mosque in Poso. - JP
