JAKARTA: Learning can be fun, and should be fun, an upcoming reality show hosted by Jason Daniels strives to prove.

Scheduled to first air on April 26 on Trans-7, Walk the Talk offers an entertaining form of learning English through the popular media of television.

After its first shooting session in several popular historical sites in Makassar, host Jason Daniels went to interview celebrity Luna Maya on the set of her upcoming movie Selasih, Janda Kembang (Selasih, The Young Widow) produced by young director Hanung Bramantyo.

With the mix of footages related to the showbiz industry and those from daily on-the-ground happenings, the 13-episode weekly program aims at providing an alternative way for Indonesians to learn English.

"We try to shoot in cities which have great potentials, like Makassar with its beautiful landmark and also with a community which needs to develop their skills in using English," production house Paradigma Films marketing communication executive Ari Nugroho said as quoted by Fajar daily.

The show is produced in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy. - JP
