Wika books 27 percent net profit growth in Q1

Construction firm PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) has booked a net profit growth of 27 percent in the first quarter of this year.
In an emailed statement sent Sunday afternoon, the company said it has booked a net profit of as much as Rp 45.92 billion (unaudited) in the first quarter of this year, up from Rp 36.16 billion in the same period last year.
The company reported a revenue increase from Rp 1.14 trillion in the first quarter last year to Rp 1.30 trillion in the same period this year.
WIKA is targeting Rp 7.48 trillion in revenue in 2009.
