Jakarta administration plans to implement the five-bonus-one parking policy, which rewards motorists who park in the same area for five times with one free parking, in 109 more areas this month.

"There will be field coordinators who are responsible for 109 parking areas owned by the city's parking unit," said Deputy Governor Prijanto at City Hall.

He said the administration would deploy 2,393 parking attendants in those areas, such as in Blok M and Melawai, both in South Jakarta.

He called on every motorist to ask for the parking tickets so the administration could control how many tickets issued daily.

"We hope that this policy can better monitor the parking revenue," he said.

The administration previously implement the ruling in four streets, like Jl. Pecenongan and Jl. Juanda in Central Jakarta, Jl. Boulevard Raya in North Jakarta and Jl. Raden Patah in South Jakarta.
