The murder of Nasruddin Zulkarnaen allegedly involved Antasari Azhar, the now inactive chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Like a love triangle in a soap opera, the murder was reportedly linked to Rani Juliani, a caddy at a golf club.
People love to discuss - with innuendos and winks - how these two married men allegedly fought over one young woman in an affair that ended in murder. Perhaps because we in Indonesia love conspiracy theories, or because we are accustomed to seeing high-profile murder mysteries, we want this case to become a politically-charged murder to bring down Antasari Azhar and his KPK.

People say there is a big conspiracy behind the case of Antasari. Well, to be honest, I don't know who to believe. I don't think Antasari is a saint.
In Indonesia, if you can't bribe a bureaucrat with money, then bribe a bureaucrat with women. People have known this for a long time. Remember the founding father Soekarno?

I know very well that The Jakarta Post normally dedicates its Opinion pages to strategic issues such as political, social and economic issues. Some readers may protest to the editors for allowing an article on Lupus to appear in this section. But believe me - discussing this issue is no less strategic than issues of our presidential election or the ongoing global economic collapse.

I really enjoyed your article. I have had Lupus for many years and have gone through the challenges of the doubt of doctors.
First thing I said to my present doc was "are you sure it is Lupus?"
"Yes," she said. Finally, I though, someone I can trust. Your article touched my heart. Finally the cause of Lupus has been taken by a paper that's not afraid.
I really appreciate the paper for printing your article.
