DENPASAR: State-run Udayana University has opened 3,500 seats, half of them sourced through an Interest and Talent-based Selection (PMDK) process, for new students for the 2009/2010 academic year, the university's rector has announced.
Udayana Rector I Wayan Bhakta said Saturday the university offers 12 faculties, the most popular of which are medicine, pharmacy and information technology.
Faculties such as animal husbandry, agriculture and agriculture technology, on the other hand, are not highly favored by prospective students. - JP
