Air Force Hercules crashes in East Java

An Air Force Hercules crashed onto houses and burned only four kilometers away from Iswahyudi Airport in Magetan regency, East Java on early Wednesday morning. At least two local residents were killed in the incident.

The plane was on its way from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta, carrying 13 crews and almost one hundred passengers, tempointeraktif.com has reported.

The Air Force, however, has yet to issue any statement.

The C-130 Hercules Alpha 1325 crashed onto several houses in Geplak village at around 6:30 a.m.. Air Force personnel came immediately and extinguished at around 8:30 a.m.. (dre)
