Letters: A prayer for our ocean

The way of the butterfly

A little girl on a peaceful morning in a flower garden;

a pulsing cocoon caught her eye. She asked her mother what it was doing.

Her mother replied, "It is moving because it wants to get out,

to be a butterfly, and to fly into the sky."

She then left the girl alone. Curious, the girl looked closely at the cocoon.

The following morning, she saw it had not yet become a butterfly.

It's a pity, she said, before taking a scissor to slice open the cocoon

to help get it out; soon to be a beautiful butterfly

and fly freely onto the blue sky, and play among the joyful flowers

- so she thought. Then, a little butterfly emerged. Looked funny,

with its wings as yet incomplete, a bit pale -she saw it

So in time, over a couple of weeks

and no shining color had shown, its wings were still weak

so it could not fly into the limitless blue sky

nor joyfully play among the colorful garden flowers, and perform magnificent

sky dancing with others - lucky fellow butterflies

In fact, the butterfly has been disabled since its birth - and forever

Two months later, the butterfly was still there

looked tired, with its wings weakening, and fading away

Creeping, as if each step keeps whispering:

"What is the value of being a butterfly

without shining wings, and magnificent sky dancing?

If they knew these would have been the butterfly's only offering".

(I was told, only the braves can

hear this voice )

The way of the ocean

Suddenly there emerged a river before her;

it is reddish brown. Then a lake on her left, with its clean blue water; spring water on

her right, crystal clear, sweet and fresh to taste. Sewage water behind her,

dark and smelly. Beyond is the ocean water.

"Where are you all going?" She asked while stretching back her hand.

Shy, the sewage replied first: "We all are visiting you, before journeying to the sea. There I will be washed and cleaned, so that I can rise to the sky to become rain, and to pour over the dry land with water. But I would also like to be spring water. That is our destiny,"

it responded touchingly to the loving girl:

Yes, it was lake water once, and spring water once as well.

She kissed each of them, before they left her to follow on their path to the sea:

Spring, lake, river, sewage and sea waters all flow to the sea. Yup, not quite! There are some that evaporate to become rain, then to the river, and.

Thus, all flow to the sea, all are from the sea. Indeed., all are from the one,

and will return to the one. In fact, they are all the same water. One water.

"Thanks, thee, for this blessing," she said in teardrops

"One ocean is a big mirror, that reflects

our greed and anger, but also love. It is under threat of climate change, which is also our face.

Pour thy light and thy love upon our ocean, so that its waves may disperse peace and happiness. So that she unifies humankind -One humankind"

The girl was surrounded with infinite happiness, her soul was full of it. Warm, cool, tender, peaceful . are all united in one; Expanding

Space no more

Time no more

Words no more.. Ah!
