Some of the Lapindo victims stand on a dike at the mudflow site waiting for sunrise to commemorate the third anniversary of the disaster in Porong, Sidoarjo on Friday. (Antara/Eric Ireng)
That is extremely insulting to the Lapindo victims, as I doubt there is any hope for them, unless they plan on inconveniencing directly the directors and shareholders of Lapindo by rallying in front of thier homes, but even then thier hope of getting the promised funds is very slim.
Do you realize that they have seen 1,095 of these sunrises since pure negligence and cutting corners to save a few rupiah by Lapindo has caused mud to flow over thier homes, thier livelihoods, thier history, and thier very lives.

What new hope for them is there?
