Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo said Monday he supported the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) efforts to conduct an investigation in public service offices.
"I will give information that KPK needs. Go ahead (with the investigation)," he told reporters.
Officers from the anti-graft body have reportedly gone to the city's five integrated service offices, including the South Jakarta Building Supervision Office and the National Land Agency in the South Jakarta Municipality Office on Monday morning.
Fauzi realized that the city's public service still had weaknesses.
He also said five mayors would meet with the KPK officers Tuesday to explain the public service procedures in their administrations.
