What about a cyber war for an appetizer? Ho ho ...

Bilateral diplomatic talks should be the first, and whoever makes faults must be fairly judged. I disagreed with some bombastic media as well, yet I agree the power of media, including internet, does control the seemingly unlimited authority of the politicians and the government to settle local issues brought into international disputes, like a war!

Haven't we had enough war films to wake us up about the
importance of peace! Think about it.

I've seen these FBR people guarding the Senayan sport complex when China olympic torch team came to town last year. I saw too many of them guarding the complex for such a small number of the torch team. All they do are just talking are just chatting and joking to each others. Shouldn't the job of securing the torch team fall to the police not some civilian groups ?? Or were these FBR people paid to secure the area ?? If I were Betawi person I'll be ashamed of myself seeing my brothers doing nothing on the street but protecting foreigners that have nothing to do with them.
To FBR Betawi people : get REAL JOB or do something better than to humiliate yourself. There's time to demonstrate and there's time to do real hard work

Bahasa Indonesia :

Untuk Kaum Betawi FBR, Cari kerjaan yg benar dan berhenti memalukan diri sendiri. Ada waktu untuk demo tapi juga ada waktu untuk kerja keras yg benar dan halal.

As Ambalat is mainly important because it probably has oil and gas, then maybe ENI, Total and Chevron, should go to war against Shell and ExxonMobil, ha ha. That way, we can all just stay home and watch it on TV. The CEOs can lead the Boards of Directors into hand to hand combat against each other. Should be a short war.

Dear all,
It seems that every generation needs to learn the hard way that war will solve nothing, empoverishs the populations of both countries and always gets out of hand. It has many unintended and unforseen consequences and it serves no-one, in the end.
It is absic fact of life that there are always 2 sides to a story - its time to find out more of the other sides story.
Let some respected international council or body hear the stories of both sides and help resolve this mess.
Lets not forget that we have Indonesian Presidential elections soon and some fire might be started from this.
I am niether Indonesian nor Malaysian, but I have lived in both countries.
In my opinion;
- ID and MY have more in common than differences,
- Both countries have deep seated and WRONG views about the people in the other countries e.g all Malaysians Sombong (not true),
- You are both brothers in Islam and as the ruling elites of both countries are Muslim, they had better remember that.

Also if war is declared, then;
- lots of ID temporary workers in MY will be sent home to ID,
- trade and business will be badly affected, causing problems for people in both countries,
- there will also be other unforseen consequences that will cause suffering.

Please keep talking and get some outside body to help.

Please keep cool heads, especially as we have a global financial crisis - war costs money, in all ways.

I would hate to see my 2 favourite countries at war with each other

@Nusa Dua Hotels, Malaysia has "far greater" military capacity? You really made me laughed. Indonesian military personnels poorly trained? Well, it is true that they have relatively few more warships and planes than the Indonesian. Samely with Singapore. But this military warfare advantage is not the only factor that will ensure your victory in war. If it is, we would have different story-endings with the Vietnam War, Iraq War, or even Indonesian Independence War. Indonesia has more years of war experience compared these two countries. Real war, real enemies, real happenings, not just military trainings. It seemed that you were also not aware of the facts that some military personnels from these two neighbouring countries had their military trainings in Indonesian jungles with much heavier military standards of discipline than those known by western military experts. If war really happens, it will be in KL, not in Indonesian soils, and Indonesians do not need to rely much on its warships and planes to do that.

in my opinion..it is in malaysia's national interest to have a good relationship with indonesia,but it seems malaysia tend to look down on indonesia, then we need to remind malaysia that you are not dealing with a desperate society that needs " a divine intervention " to help theirs,you are dealing with one of the largest nation on earth with one of the most dynamic society despite the hardship,crisis and all the bad luck still able to reform itself,and move towards progress,Indonesia is not perfect but surely deserve some respect from malaysia,enough said.kind regard,anak indo di sydney.

malaysia is a small country with primitive people, worse than FBR people,, so i think this is will become a primitive war.. hahaha

I agree for the fact that my cat sniffles has ran away to have some pie over at the Jenkins residence of North Carolina. If you want too see boobies on this page, be pretty sure that there's no need for violence in the matter of hand, in which the everlasting chaos of the 6th dimension will reign down upon you and cultivate your lands with the rich hands of positive ruling.

Upon which there is no need for death or bloodshed at this present moment in history. There is no need for tears to fall to the ground over the loss of another friend. So shall the human race must come together in harmony if we were ever to succeed over the forces of nature and rise up to the stars. But alas, such trivial matters of two neighboring countries can't be resolved, thus we shall fall into the brink of destruction. Peace can't be forced upon a country with no ears, so lend me yours. Ironically, the youth will only be killing those of their own kind, those whom have lived a life with the same morals and teachings from the same source. But let this be said to all those whom support the war: "(nothing)".

Genocide in Rwanda has past, history is beginning to repeat itself again.

Especially for Nasional,

Get a job or continue with your education. As far as I know, there is approximately 250 million of Indonesian in this world and not 200 million. And they only need 1% @ 2.5 million of your type to tarnish your own country image by courting danger of going to war. A stark contrast, there is only 27 million of us in Malaysia and all of us a A Peace Loving Human Being. Grow-up Nasional, look at your TNI weaponry arsenal, do some reaches and compare. 1 + 1 = 2. Frankly, I love Indonesia, their People,food, rich culture & heritage. I have relatives & close friend there, nice & polite people, respected them, ,never fail to amaze me and family of their sincere friendship. having a gala time on every visit / holiday in the land of wonderful people, especially Bali, Bandung, Jogjakarta, Surabaya and Jakarta. Lets the Politician do their Job, lets the media print whatever the think is right in order to sell their papers, but we as a citizen of both country, must believe in harmony and love their neighbor. Let's make Love and not War..... Insyallah.

We should war with Israel not for the same brotherhood. Pity Palestinian.
