5-year-old falls four storeys, in critical condition

A 5-year old child, identified as Ririk Setiawati, is in critical condition after falling from the fourth floor of Bendan General Hospital in Pekalongan, Central Java.Antara news agency reported that Ririk was in the hospital wiht her parents to visit a relative who was treated at the hospital on Tuesday evening.
Ririk's father, Aswan (45), said Riril was on her way to take a drink but he did not realize where the child went after he had lost sight of her.
West Pekalongan Police chief Adj. Comr. Sumarjo said that the police were still investigating the case and have yet to make any statement.
The hospital also refused to give further detail of the victim's condition. (dre)
