Police to summon father of blind baby

The Jakarta Police will summon Kiki Kurniawan, the father of a blind baby, Jared, on Monday to explain his statement that accused Omni International Hospital of blinding his son, Kiki’s lawyer said Sunday.
Lawyer Cinta Trisulo said Kiki may not go to the Jakarta Police headquarters, however, as the police had not yet officially invited him.
"He [Kiki] just received a telephone call from the police. We will not go there without an official letter," she said.
Jared has an identical twin brother, Jayden, who is not blind although he does suffer from a condition known as cylindrical eyesight.
