ADPARA>JAKARTA: Songs and dances on Sunday at Bank Mandiri Museum enlivened the opening of the Goelali children's film festival, featuring 17 local and international films.
"The festival is aimed at giving children aged between 3 and 16 a better understanding of the world of cinema," said Chicha Koeswoyo, a former child star and member of the festival board of advisors.
The festival will be open to the public until June 20 at several venues including the Bank Mandiri Museum, Kineforum theatre in Taman Ismail Marzuki (Central Jakarta) and the Japan Foundation on Jl. Jend. Sudirman.
The screenings are open to the public and are free of charge. - JP
