Robot from Bandung wins international competition

Robot DU-114, designed by a student from the Computer University of Indonesia, Bandung, has won a
gold medal at the International Robo Games in San Francisco,
California.
State news agency Antara reported that DU-114, which was built by Rudy Hartono, was the fastest robot to put out a fire at the competition.
"For this [open fire fighting autonomous robot] category, 11 teams from various countries competed for the gold medal, and DU-114 won it," Andi Rahadian, spokesman of the Indonesian Consulate in San Francisco, said.
Representative from 20 countries participated in the competition, which ran from Friday to Sunday.
