The Makassar unit of state owned oil and gas firm Pertamina will get
12-kilogram Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) bottles from the firm's
unit in Surabaya in the anticipation of gas shortages following a fire at the Makassar depot last week.
"Our LPG stock is only enough until tomorrow [Wednesday], so we need to get new supplies from Surabaya," spokesman for Pertamina's Makassar unit Basuki Trikora Putra said.
He said that two skid tanks would also be delivered from Surabaya to Makassar.
Last week's gas depot fire in Makassar killed one person and injured two others.
