Matoa hosts sixth series of Ancora junior golf

JAKARTA: Around 120 young golfers will take part in the PGN Ancora Junior Golf Championship beginning on Tuesday at the Matoa Golf Course, Jakarta.
The tournament is the sixth series of the Ancora's eight-event championship this year aiming at giving young golfers more field to shape up their skills.
"This is one of three junior tournaments by the PGI *Indonesian Amateur Golf Association* which counts on the national junior rankings," Netty Hariady, PGI's competition chief, was quoted as saying in a release.
Ancora Golf Director Nia Adriana said the players would be challenged to tackle the tricky Matoa course in the four-day tournament, which features five age groups in the boys and girls. - JP
