Rp 2.8t more needed for second round

JAKARTA: The General Elections Commission (KPU) said it would need Rp 2.8 trillion in additional funds if the upcoming presidential election went to two rounds. "So far we have Rp 1.2 trillion from the legislative election budget," Suripto Bambang Setyadi, the commission's secretary-general, said Monday. He said the commission would meet with the House of Representatives on Thursday to discuss the additional cost. -JP
